A Lovely February with The SOCO + The OC Mix’s Kids Club! 

Calling all creative kiddos of Orange County! SOCO + The OC Mix’s all-new Kids Club continues this month bringing fun events and interactive programming to children and their families. This month’s event will be held on Wednesday, February 19 from 10a to 11a and will include a reading of the book “The Day it Rained Hearts” in addition to music performed by Ms. Cara LaGreen. Design & Dine Returns!

SOCO’s first Design & Dine of 2020 is just around the corner! Room & Board will kick off this year’s series on Monday, February 24 from 6-8p with an interactive Q&A featuring special guests Audrey Crisp, local influencer and interior design expert, and Heather Bullard, professional magazine stylist, on the different ways to add color to the home along with inspiring tips on how to complete a springtime refresh! Calligaris Mini Event 

Take your bedroom décor to the next level! Calligaris invites guests to its new flagship showroom at SOCO on Saturday, February 8 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm to view their new (and luxurious!) bed offering. Calligaris design consultants will be on hand to answer questions and will be happy to provide guests with options available to match their design needs. Refreshments will also be served.

February Tastings at The Mixing Glass 

This month, don’t miss the chance to experience exclusive tastings at The Mixing Glass! Each event will feature a different liquor hand-picked by The Mixing Glass staff to try for FREE (no RSVP required). Kick-starting this tasting series on Saturday, February 8 from 12p-3p, The Mixing Glass will be highlighting Xicaru Mezcal and Brooklyn Gin. A Taste of France Comes to SOCO 

TODAY, November 5 the highly anticipated fourth location of Moulin officially joins the SOCO family! With a commitment to providing an elevated pastry experience, Moulin’s exhibition-style kitchen will show guests what it takes to assemble artisan pastries while also offering Parisian classics including wedding cake, croquembouche, opera, fraisier, and baba au rhum. The new 2,000 sq. ft. pastry lab will be open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and features a memorizing 17-foot glass pastry case.

The Holidays Have Arrived 

With the holidays right around the corner, SOCO + The OC Mix is excited to announce this year’s Holidays by Design events! Beginning on Saturday, November 30 and running every Saturday through December 21, guests are invited to bring the whole family to enjoy a holiday photo booth from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and along with live music inside The OC Mix from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Chuck Jones Center will also be hosting holiday “Storytime” plus a “Little Elves” craft workshop for your little ones.  An RSVP will be required, so please be sure to stay tuned for updates + additional details.

Honor America’s Heroes 

To thank America’s veterans for their endless service and dedication, SusieCakes is inviting all active, inactive, and military personnel into their bakeries during operating hours on Monday, November 11 to enjoy a delicious complimentary piece of cake with valid Military ID or DD 214.  Non-veterans can show their support by purchasing a regular sized red velvet cupcake where $1 from each cupcake purchased will be donated to VA medical centers in California and Texas.  Mark your calendars and get ready to show your appreciation for the hero in your life this Veteran’s Day!

OC DESIGNER CAMP

Don’t forget to register your young designer for Orange County Designer Camp!  Known as the only comprehensive + collaborative design-based summer camp for students ages 11 – 17, OC Designer Camp will take place starting Monday, July 15 to Friday, July 19from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Chuck Jones Center.  Participants will gain a behind the scenes look at the vast world of design and will learn in an environment that fosters creativity + community.  Throughout the program, participants will hear advice from design professionals who have extensive experience in the industry, helping students to discover their full potential + career opportunities.  For more information and to register, please click here.

YOGA & VINO AT H.D. BUTTERCUP

Join LXRYOGA for free yoga & wine at H.D.
