Designer Camp Returns to SOCO
This summer, Designer Camp – the only comprehensive & collaborative design-based summer camp for young creatives ages 11-17 – will host two workshop series at the Chuck Jones Center for Creativity at SOCO + The OC Mix!

Designer Camp 101 will take place July 16-20, giving students the opportunity to explore industry careers and learn the principles & elements of design, followed by Designer Camp Interior Design fromJuly 23-27, which will dive deeper into areas of interior design, including event & furniture design, home staging, prop styling, textile design and more.  Click here to learn more + register online.

 

Meet Anna-Marie Claassen of Anthology Interiors
If you’ve seen the incredible new spring/summer display windows at SOCO + The OC Mix, you’re looking at the work of Anna-Marie Claassen of Anthology Interiors.  Anna-Marie got her start in design at the tender age of 9 when she received her first dollhouse, and never looked back!  After studying Interior Design at Ivy Tech College, she began working in Orange County’s high-end residential interior design world before launching Anthology Interiors.  Through Anthology, she’s completed an array of projects – from furnishings to heavy remodels to new home builds – all with a focus on colors, patterns & improving quality of life through design.  We think you’ll agree her passion shines through her work!  For more information, visitwww.anthologyinteriors.com

Please save the date for the second annual SOCO Uncorked on March 31, from 6-9pm, with VIP from 5-6pm, in partnership with Costa Mesa Visitors’ Bureau and Project Hope Alliance. Enjoy small bites from award winning SOCO restaurants and wine producers from all over the globe, artfully curated by Nancy Milby of LCA Wine at SOCO.

Bask in the open courtyard of SOCO Collection, with a backdrop of live music and a glass of red a hand’s reach away. Dozens of wine producers will be present, offering you a sample of their handcrafted wines. You will experience the pleasures of perfect food and wine pairings that you’ll be itching to come back for years to come.

In addition to the delectable food and wine pairings, some of Orange County’s finest local musicians will be performing classics throughout the evening in the SOCO Courtyard. Stay tuned for more details…

Lord of the Strings – Clive Carroll

You’re invited to SOCO’s Lord of the Strings Summer concert on Sunday, September 27 from 3-6pm, featuring one of Europe’s finest soloists, Clive Carroll. Carroll is an incredible acoustic talent and a favorite of names like Jean-Christophe Novelli and Madonna. A genius on strings, Carroll compiles his music slowly, with love and care. All of his pieces are associated with a particular person or major event in his life. Don’t miss out on this acoustic guitar phenomenon and the opportunity to hear his journey through his music. During the concert, guests will have the option to purchase wine and food pairings curated by LCA Wine and one of SOCO’s culinary partners.
