Introducing: Kseniya Milius!  Kseniya is the OC Showroom Manager at the renowned contemporary showroom Modani.  As a dedicated Modani team member, Kseniya went above and beyond this past year and helped the showroom navigate through such unprecedented times – enabling Modani to remain in business through the pandemic by rebuilding her entire sales team and retraining staff members.

Why do you love working at SOCO and/or what’s a favorite memory from your time working at the center?   From creating amazing relationships with the PR + Marketing teams and neighboring showrooms, to the memories made during fun events such as Day of Design, weekly Farmers Markets, and live performances, SOCO has become a very place to me. 

How did you get into the design industry? I had the opportunity to start my Interior Design journey with HD Buttercup where I learned so much about styles of furniture, color effects and space concepts.  A few years ago, I was offered a Sales Representative position at Modani, which was new to California at the time.  Once I saw the furniture selection, prices, and design concepts, I never looked back!  Modani is not only a great place to work, but is the perfect place for shoppers to relax and shop with joy.

Why are you passionate about what you do?  I am passionate about what I do because I love helping and educating anyone who wants to learn!  Many visitors don’t know how to piece a room, house, or patio together and they are so happy to have design experts explain to them patiently without forcing a sale.

What is your favorite store at SOCO (besides your own)? After Modani, my next favorite showroom would be HD Buttercup and Lightopia as it is definitely an experience to walk through so many amazing light fixtures. 

Is there anything you would like to say to the Costa Mesa community at large?  I love Costa Mesa because it is a mixed city of beach lovers and working travelers – at Modani we have options for everyone’s lifestyle!
