Mother of a Sauce

Sauces elevate your cooking by adding flavor, complexity, and color to your favorite dish. Our Chef Instructor will share fundamentals for preparing a variety of professional sauces, including classic mother sauces and more. You will make a traditional béchamel sauce, creamy crème anglaise, rich romesco, and a twist on a hollandaise and butter sauce. You will also learn how to sear scallops, grill steak, and make ice cream from scratch. Join us for a delicious menu with classic techniques you can use to enhance your favorite meals. Create and taste: Truffle Macaroni and Cheese Bites, Sea Scallops with Raspberry Thyme Beurre Rouge, Asparagus with Citrus Hollandaise, Grilled Flank Steak with Romesco Sauce, Roasted Peach and Praline-Honey Ice Cream.
