SURFAS: HANDS-ON COOKING CLASS Cooking with Shellfish

Scared of shellfish? Our Chef Instructor will show you how simple cooking with shellfish can be.  We will share techniques for shucking oysters, grilling shrimp, searing scallops perfectly, and creating a rich seafood soup perfect for fall. You will also learn tips for select fresh and sustainable shellfish and making corn tortillas from scratch. Join us and see how delicious cooking with shell fish can be!

Make and Taste: Oysters on the Half-shell with Champagne Mignonette,
Tequila Lime Shrimp with Homemade Corn Tortillas and Avocado Mousse, Prosciutto Wrapped Scallops with Mascarpone Polenta and Figs,
Bouillabaisse (Provencal Fish and Seafood Stew)
