Surfas: Hands-On Cooking Class Ecuadorian Coastal Cuisine

Discover the exotic flavors of Ecuadorian cuisine. Surfas’ own Chef Alexa Mata will walk you through her favorite flavors, temperatures and textures of her native cuisine. You will also learn how to fry plantains, braise chicken in passion fruit, and cook shrimp with citrus juice. Create and taste: Bolones (Green Plantain Dumplings) – Seco de Pollo (Ecuadorian Chicken Stew) – Annato Rice – Ceviche de Camaron (Shrimp Ceviche) – Torta de Choclo (Cheesy Corn Casserole). Join us for a tasty tour of Ecuador, using authentic ingredients and spices your friends and family will love. Tickets are $65 per person.
