Surfas: Hands-On Cooking Class Tapas, Paella, and Sangria Party

Join Surfas as we explore the fantastic flavors of Spain! Our Chef Instructor will show you authentic techniques for traditional tapas and Spanish paella, all while you sip a glass of sangria. You will also learn tips on battering and frying cheese and perfecting stove top custard. As a bonus we will enjoy a taste of one of the finest meats in the world, hand-carved Jamon Iberico de Bellota! Make and taste: Paella Mixta (Mixed Seafood, Chorizo, and Chicken Paella) – Ensalada de Espárragos con Alcaparras (Asparagus Salad with Piquillo Peppers and Capers) – Croquetas de Mojo Verde (Fried Goat Cheese with Cilantro Sauce) – Crema Catalana (Catalan Crème Brûlée) – Roasted Cherry Sangria. Explore a small sampling of the exotic flavors from this part of the world and learn how easy they are to create at home! *must be 21 or older to attend as alcohol will be served.
