Surfas: Hands-On Cooking Class The Basics of Bread 2-Day Workshop

An event every day that begins at 12:00 pm, repeating until August 16, 2015

Join us for an intensive, 2-day, hands-on workshop where you will learn how to make and bake fresh bread at home. Our Chef Instructor will walk you through making a starter and poolish, and proper kneading techniques. You will also learn tips for proofing, shaping, and baking several types of bread. Make and enjoy: Brioche – Pain de Epi – Irish Soda Bread – Ciabatta – Buttermilk Biscuits – Fresh Butter. Create fragrant, crusty, hearty and delicious fresh bread… and then eat it! *please note this is a 2 day class. Each class is 3-1/2 hours long.
