Surfas: Holiday Hot Tamales

For many families, tamales are a tradition where loved ones gather together in the kitchen to create this delicious treat. You will learn the basics of working with fresh masa, creating several fillings and sauces, and the technique of wrapping and steaming tamales in both corn husks and banana leaves. Gather together in our kitchen and learn how to create this festive tradition just in time for the holidays. Create and taste: Fresh Masa Preparada, Cotija Cheese, Corn and Poblano Tamales, Pasilla Chile Sauce, South American Beer Braised Pork Tamales, Curtido Salsa, Chicken Mole Tamales.
