Hands-On Cooking Class
Join Surfas as we prepare for St. Patty’s Day! Lets drink Guinness and cook Irish food to get us in the mood. We will be learning tips and tricks for the perfect Irish soda bread, and mouth-watering champs. (You will never want regular mashed potatoes again). We will learn the perfect brine mix and the perfect cooking method to give our corned beef the most flavor possible. Because corned beef takes a little bit to brine, Surfas will brine the beef before hand and start cooking it right before class so it will be ready when we are ready to eat. Let’s top off this amazing meal with a fun dessert of Shamrock pie. This is a fun treat that is a lemon meringue pie we turn green; what could be bad about that?! Create and taste: Irish Soda Bread, Champs (Irish Mashed Potatoes with Green Onions), Corned Beef and Cabbage with Herbed Root Veggies, Shamrock Pie. *must be 21 or older to attend as alcohol will be served.
