Taco Maria: Fall Guest Chef Series

October 20, 2015

Join Chef Carlos Salgado, chef and co-owner of Taco Maria on October 20th to kick off his fall guest chef series with Wes Avila of Guerrilla Tacos in Los Angeles and on November 17th, Richie Nakano, most recently of Hapa Ramen in San Francisco, will be the guest.

Salgado began the guest chef series as a way to welcome creativity and collaboration into his kitchen for the ultimate benefit of Orange County diners. Visiting chefs range from respected neighbors in Orange County to celebrated guests from across the state, country, and world. Each receives an invitation to be inspired by Mexican cuisine and the bounty of Southern California during their visit to Taco María. The menus for the dinners take a prix-fixe, multi-course format, and reservations become available two weeks before each new dinner date.

“Guest chef dinners promote the exchange of ideas among chefs and diners from cities around the United States and the world. I look forward to creating these opportunities at Taco María for our guests, our staff, and our talented friends who are chefs.”

Taco María’s guest chef series kicked off in August 2015 with local favorite Eric Samaniego. A winter line-up of dinners will be announced later in the fall.
