Here’s What’s Happening This Fall at SOCO + The OC Mix!

Lookin’ Boo-tiful!

Say cheese! On Saturday, October 26 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. bring the whole family to The OC Mix for a festive + complimentary Halloween photo shoot hosted by Alison Bernier Photography with Beijos Events. Bring your little ghouls and goblins to capture some unforgettable Halloween moments and plus enjoy a free Halloween-themed craft table at Milk & Honey Baby.  Digital versions of the photos taken will be available online for purchase the week following the event at alisonbernier.com.

 

 

 

Family Time at Cilek Kid’s Room

Come visit Cilek Kid’s Room at SOCO for it’s final Storytime event of the season this Saturday October 26 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This week will feature a Stellaluna reading along with a 3-D bat construction craft. Then, families are invited to the SOCO Farmer’s Market to take part in a tasting tour with Market Bucks-tokens that can be spent on anything inside the market. Admission is free with required registration. Please RSVP here.

Spice Up Your Space!

Join HAY, in collaboration with plant company Peacock & Co., on Saturday, November 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for an in-store plant pop-up that promises to get your space holiday ready. Chuck Jones Halloween Fall Fundraiser – This Sunday! 
Play It Forward, a “Spook”tacular FUNdraiser for Creativity Benefiting the Chuck Jones Center for Creativity is coming up THIS Sunday, October 22 from 1-4pm at Chuck Jones Center for Creativity at #SOCOandTheOCMix. There will be mask-making, trick or treat bag and faux pumpkin decorating, “Day-of-the-Dead” skeleton head decorating, wire art, lyric-writing, toy-making, animation light-table drawing, and more! Click here to purchase tickets. 

 

Halloween Photo Booth at SOCO
On October 28. Alison Bernier Kids Photography will be hosting a free photo booth in honor of Halloween on October 28th from 9.30am – 12.30pm at #SOCOandtheOCMix Children in costume are invited to come have pictures taken with our spooky backdrop. You can purchase your photos afterward from an online gallery. Individual digital Images will be $30, 2 for $50 or 3 for $65. No bookings are required. We look forward to seeing you all! 

 

SOCO After Dark – Live Music EVERY Monday
